Ed Newville

Division Leader, Southern California

As Southland's Southern California Division Leader, Ed Newville oversees all aspects of the Southern California Division, including project management, training, work acquisition planning, project review, and more. Focused on training and mentoring the next generation, Ed brings his commitment and expertise to cultivate talent, drive performance, and achieve project success. 

With over 25 years of experience, Ed has held various positions during his tenure at Southland. He served as vice president of operations, where he was responsible for overseeing all project management staff and the purchasing department, and also served as operations manager. Prior to his time at Southland, Ed held positions such as director of operations and project manager at various design-build and mechanical contracting companies.

Ed received his mechanical engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is LEED accredited and DBIA certified. He is currently on the executive committee for the California Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA).
