As Vice President, Butch King is responsible for standards and practices for service operations, working to maintain a healthy level of consistency and standardization across all service locations. Overseeing new service technology and technical training, Butch ensures operational excellence to drive strategic growth.
With over 40 years of industry experience, Butch began as an apprentice pipefitter and later moved into plumbing. Working his way up through his career, Butch joined Southland as a service supervisor and was promoted to service operations manager for North Texas before becoming the vice president of service. Initially hired to start a plumbing service group to complement the existing HVAC service group, Butch helped grow the plumbing service within the region, overall supporting substantial service team growth in both revenue and people.
Butch holds a Texas Master Plumber License.
