As Vice President and General Counsel, Lauren McLaughlin oversees all legal, compliance, risk management, and corporate governance functions.
With over 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, Lauren has represented a diverse range of stakeholders — including owners, concessionaires, developers, design-build contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and design professionals — throughout every phase of public and private construction projects. She has extensive expertise in risk management, litigation avoidance, and dispute resolution across the industrial, commercial, infrastructure (heavy civil), institutional, and specialty trade construction sectors.
Lauren graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Trinity University and earned her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law. A recognized leader in construction law, she was elected to the American College of Construction Lawyers and has held leadership roles on several industry and private boards, including the American Subcontractors Association of Metro Washington (ASAMW), the Virginia State Bar (VSB), and the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry (ABA).
