Overview
To keep up with growing demand, Woodinville Whiskey needed a larger facility to expand its production and aging capacity.
A 10-acre site, surrounded by the same grain fields used in production, was chosen for a multi-phase expansion that consolidated operations while allowing for future growth. The first phase introduced a processing and bottling facility, which also houses corporate offices and a barrel rickhouse for aging. The building includes dedicated water treatment, processing, and mechanical rooms to support production needs. A large barrel staging area, which accounts for about 60% of the building space, was incorporated to streamline operations.

Our Approach
We installed stainless-steel process piping, air compressor piping, plumbing, and associated fixtures, along with plumbing water treatment equipment. Our scope also included installing four stainless steel owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) process tanks.
A major challenge was the limited mounting details provided by the load sensor and tank manufacturers. Despite this, our team successfully mounted the OFCI stainless steel tanks onto the load sensors, ensuring precise installation. To improve efficiency, we submitted a request for information to use epoxy anchors instead of the originally specified grout pads with embedded anchors, streamlining the process while maintaining structural integrity. Additionally, by using a single-source vendor for all stainless steel products, we optimized procurement and helped maintain the project schedule.
Result
Our expertise in scheduling and coordination during the rough-in phase ensured smooth project execution, earning high praise from both the general contractor and the owner. By proactively addressing challenges and delivering high-quality workmanship, we helped the client achieve a seamless installation with minimal delays.
