Overview

Haltom City constructed a new City Hall to support the growing needs of its City Council, Municipal Courts, and City Administration.

The new facility provides the city with flexible space to accommodate current and future staff, improves operational efficiency, and offers adequate parking for both employees and visitors. Designed with clear signage, reduced maintenance costs, and room for future expansion, the building supports Haltom City's continued growth.

Our Approach

After completing the design for the Haltom City Law Enforcement Center, we were awarded a design-build mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contract for City Hall. Our team handled schematic and detailed design, as well as construction documents for all MEP systems.

Following the design phase, we procured and installed a full range of MEP systems, including plumbing and piping, pumps, water heaters, split systems, exhaust fans, rooftop air handlers, and fixtures. We prefabricated all ductwork and certain bathroom systems to streamline installation. This project featured a SuperVoid system that supported efficient underground plumbing installation.

For the electrical scope, we sourced and installed a complete set of electrical systems, from the medium voltage (15KV) switch down to new wall receptacles. Our scope also included parking canopy lighting, new distribution and branch panels, generator, and automatic transfer switches. Additionally, we provided raceways for the fire alarm system, access control, and audiovisual system.

Result

We delivered the project in time for the grand opening in October 2024. By leveraging prefabrication, in-house commissioning, and coordinated installation efforts, we helped create a flexible, cost-efficient, and future-ready facility that supports Haltom City's operational needs today and for years to come.
