Southland Industries Completes Leadership Transition, Names Jim Meacham CEO

Dulles, VA – Southland Industries today announced that Jim Meacham has been named Chief Executive Officer, completing the leadership transition announced earlier this year. Ted Lynch, who served as CEO since 2011, has transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman. 

Jim assumes the role as Southland continues expanding its national footprint and tackling increasingly complex projects. The company offers full lifecycle building solutions to enhance the design, construction, operation, and efficiency of buildings. With projected annual revenue of approximately $8.5 billion, Southland is focused on bringing together its people, experience, and capabilities to support customers across its growing markets.

Jim started his career with Southland as an intern more than 23 years ago. In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw company operations and led the strategic direction of Southland's divisions. His experience leading regional and national operations has given him a deep understanding of Southland's business, customers, and markets, positioning him well to drive continued success and growth as CEO. 

Ted Lynch will continue to support the company's strategy and leadership team as an Executive Chairman.
