Southland Industries Triples North Texas Fabrication Shop Capacity

Dallas, TX – Southland Industries today announced the new location and expansion of its North Texas fabrication shop to a 390,000-square-foot facility in Fort Worth, Texas. 

By centralizing piping, plumbing, sheet metal, and electrical fabrication under one roof, Southland is enhancing its ability to support the region's growing hyperscale megaprojects. This expanded footprint strengthens Southland's fabrication approach, improving quality control and safety by shifting labor hours from the jobsite into a controlled shop environment.

"This expansion is about more than just square footage — by tripling our production capacity, we provide the schedule certainty clients need to meet speed-to-market demands." 

The facility's strategic location enables just-in-time delivery to jobsites across North Texas. Equipped with more than 30 weld bays and advanced automated cutting and welding technology, the shop is designed for maximum efficiency and multi-trade coordination.
