Pre-Con: Planning, Thinking Lean, and Alignment are Key to Efficient Construction Projects

Henry Nutt III who has worked in sheet metal for 32 years, spoke with eMod about leading preconstruction for Southland. As a Preconstruction Executive, Nutt has covered a variety of issues, including the importance of alignment from stakeholders, risk assessment, and lean construction. Pre-con is an integral role for any construction project. From planning the foundation to identifying the tools needed for the installation process, no matter the complexity, it is crucial to have a plan in order to execute a project successfully. The process is very thorough, but it is necessary to identify and eliminate unnecessary steps. Nutt understands firsthand what it takes to make a construction project run efficiently and it begins on the front end with pre-con.
