Turner-Yates recognized Robert Post, Safety Coordinator, as safety professional of the week on a confidential project in De Soto, Kansas. The recognition was announced during the onsite safety meeting, which included approximately 80 safety professionals representing various trade partners. The award honors individuals who go above and beyond in supporting jobsite safety goals.
Robert fosters a culture of care and accountability, overseeing four trade partners and consistently connecting with foremen and field employees on a personal level. "Robert's ability to identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and correct them in the field has helped drive a stronger voice in the field and strengthen the connection between office and field teams," Garrett Omasta, Safety Manager, said.
New to the construction industry, Robert demonstrates a strong eagerness to learn, often arriving an hour early to prepare for daily pre-task plans and engage with the teams. As part of the award, Turner-Yates presented Robert with an NFL football, which he passed along to the next recognized safety professional, continuing to reinforce a strong safety-first culture across the project.
