Holder Construction presents the Subcontractor Safety Award to subcontractors who demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by taking ownership of their work and maintaining safe onsite conditions. In January 2025, Southland was honored with this award for a confidential project in our Northern California Division.
This recognition highlights Southland's exceptional planning and execution of chiller crane lifts, coinciding with the celebration of 180 days without a recordable onsite incident. The project team completed thirty 350-ton air cooled chiller crane lifts on two consecutive weekends, and ten 50-ton computer room air handling units onto an engineering platform 60 feet above ground for a data center hall.
