Anthony Roner Appointed Vice President of Southland Energy

San Diego, CA – Southland Energy, a division of Southland Industries, recently appointed Anthony Roner as Vice President. In his new role, Mr. Roner will be responsible for overseeing Southland's energy business unit by focusing on the strategic implementation of Southland's energy services within core markets as well as on a national scale.

"Anthony's leadership skills and expertise in energy efficiency, building automation, and analytics will position him for success in the industry. By consulting with customers, I know he will not only meet, but exceed, their energy requirements," stated Executive Vice President Joe Cvetas.

With over 20 years of experience in the energy services and building automation industry, Mr. Roner's expertise ranges from building optimization, retro-commissioning, and demand management to leading high performance teams on a national level. With a track record for successfully implementing complex design-build energy retrofit projects, he has worked with a vast number of clients to optimize building operations and improve overall building efficiency through measurable solutions.

Mr. Roner earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from San Diego State University, and previously served as a regional leader for building systems integrator, Envise. He continues to participate in many industry organizations, such as the ASHRAE and the Association of Energy Engineers.
