Each year, the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) Central Texas Chapter recognizes the contribution of its members to the AEC industry through the Excellence in Construction Awards (EIC). The EIC Eagle Award recognizes projects that have the highest quality of workmanship and built the project on time and on budget. Among this year's distinguished projects was AMD Met Labs Phase 1.
Brandt, a Southland Industries company, successfully completed the mechanical and plumbing scope for a cutting-edge semiconductor facility for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), in partnership with Rogers-O'Brien Construction. This 73,000-square-foot project involved transforming 2 data halls, 6 laboratory spaces, and office areas with state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to support AMD's AI research and development.
