Associated General Contractors - Texas Building Branch (AGC-TBB) Outstanding Construction Awards for 2023 Projects

Jul. 29, 2024

The Associated General Contractors - Texas Building Branch (AGC-TBB) Outstanding Construction Awards recognize projects based on difficulty in construction, unusual construction techniques, safety, and timeliness of completion.

Brandt, a Southland Industries company, had two projects recognized for exemplary efforts.

Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital Air Handling Units Refurbishment | Specialty Contractor - Mechanical 1

We performed the mechanical refurbishment of nine existing dual duct air handling units on the fifth floor, penthouse mechanical room of this 430,000 square-foot hospital. The upgraded HVAC systems provided by these refurbishments enhanced the hospital's ability to serve its over 80,000 emergency patients annually.

Longhorn Data Center | Specialty Contractor - Electrical 3

Our scope of work included furnishing and installing electrical systems and owner-provided equipment. Although our team faced supply chain and manufacturing challenges, we completed this project on time and within budget through precise project scheduling, immense coordination, and communication with other trades onsite.
