Increasing Adoption of Energy Performance Contracts

The Military Engineer

The U.S. Army Garrison Fort Riley, Kan., was awarded the Army Energy Efficiency 2020 Project of the Year Award for its Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC), completed by Southland Energy. It is the Army's first ESPC to incorporate the Department of Defense (DOD) Risk Management Framework to achieve an Authority to Operate for the base's energy management control system.
