Alicia Bender, Senior Sales Account Executive, will be a panelist for the Maximizing Impact: Leveraging Energy Savings Performance Contracts for Sustainable Upgrades session. This session will delve into Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs), a public-private partnership between a public entity and an Energy Service Company (ESCO) that finances energy and water improvements through cost-savings. The public entity repays the financing using the savings generated from the upgraded equipment and facility improvements.

By integrating additional funds into an ESPC — whether from existing capital, rebates, grants, or tax credits — projects can achieve greater investment, enabling more extensive upgrades with longer paybacks. This approach allows public entities to cost-effectively implement advanced solutions such as electrification, renewable energy, and building envelope enhancements.
