California Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association (CPMCA) spotlighted Bill Lohman, General Foreman, and Southland's work on the Intuit Dome, the new home of the LA Clippers in Inglewood, California.
The contractor spotlight highlighted the experience of Southland, the importance of bringing this project into Inglewood by having a 40 percent local hiring rate, and the unique aspects of the project.
"We are hiring apprentices and journeymen within a five-mile radius of the Intuit Dome...so we are hiring people that are learning, and we are able to pour into them what we have learned. We are teaching them years of lessons learned about the importance of work ethic first, being professional, and owning what they've done," expressed Lohman.
