Our San Antonio Division partners with local and municipal facilities across the region to support service projects, including a recent service maintenance contract with DeWitt County. As part of this partnership, Adam Fanning, Service Account Manager, was asked by Sheriff Carl Bowen to investigate the existing water heaters in the DeWitt County Jail.
During this assessment, Adam determined that only four of the existing ten water heaters were operational, creating an urgent need for repairs due to potential leaks. The remaining six had failed due to poor water quality, which clogged filters and corroded the lines. While previous repairs and replacements had been made, the units were no longer under warranty. Adam recommended installing a reverse osmosis system to improve water quality and replacing all heaters with Rinnai tankless water heaters.
Our involvement in this maintenance contract was highlighted in the local newspaper, DeWitt County Today, when Adam and the Sheriff presented the Commissioners Court with a quote to make repairs.
