As Vice President of Business Development supporting the east region, Justin Herzing is responsible for coordinating business development efforts across the region while also supporting Southland's national strategy in the mission-critical market. He leads regional business development initiatives, working closely with partners to solve complex engineering and construction challenges. Justin also focuses on strengthening existing relationships while driving strategic growth in new geographic regions and developing relationships with new partners.

With 16 years of experience spanning design engineering, project management, preconstruction, and business development, Justin has held roles including design engineer, project manager, and preconstruction executive. His experience across both design engineering and operations has provided him with a unique perspective that he leverages to develop creative design and construction solutions. His project experience includes Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, and numerous confidential data center programs, where he has supported both the design and construction phases of the work.

Justin holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in architectural engineering from Penn State and is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia. He is also a member of 7x24 and has previously held committee roles with his local DBIA chapter.
