As Chief Information Officer, Josh Getz oversees all technology at Southland Industries. His responsibilities include strategy and planning, AEC and VDC technologies, business systems, infrastructure and cybersecurity, technology delivery and application management, and the company's data, analytics, and AI practice. He leads a high-performing, collaborative team that works as a true partner to the business, aligning technology with business priorities and delivering the tools, systems, and support teams need to succeed.

Josh began his 20-year career at Southland as an intern in 2006. Early on, he helped lead the company's enterprise BIM strategy and implementation. He went on to build the AEC technologies function as part of the IT leadership team, overseeing design, fabrication, and construction technology. Under his leadership, the function has since integrated Southland's VDC teams into IT and is now expanding into preconstruction, supply chain, and building operations.

As Southland continues to evolve its technology capabilities, Josh is focused on expanding how Southland uses its data, developing advanced analytics capabilities that support better, faster decisions. Building on that foundation, he is sharpening the company's focus on AI and innovation, with a clear process for evaluating, piloting, and scaling the most promising emerging technologies.

Josh holds a bachelor's degree in product design from Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is also a member of the AEC IT Leaders peer group and the Autodesk Construction Executive Council.
