As Regional President at Southland, Tim Michael oversees the east region, including the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic Divisions. Tim is responsible for driving strategic development and growth across the region with a strong emphasis on scalable programs and relationship-building. Tim focuses on advancing collaborative delivery models that leverage Southland's full suite of design, build, and maintain services.
With more than 30 years in the industry, Tim has held a variety of leadership roles, including project manager, project executive, preconstruction manager, and vice president of preconstruction. Since joining Southland over 25 years ago, he has been instrumental in fostering the company's progressive, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture. Tim has built and shaped high-performing teams that deliver world-class projects, including the Pentagon Renovation following 9/11 and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He has also championed Southland's unified approach to scale programs nationally across the manufacturing and mission critical markets.
Tim received his bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from Penn State University. He is a member of the 7x24 Exchange International organization for mission critical industry professionals.
