Cal Cities Sacramento Valley Division Meeting

The Sacramento Valley Division of the League of California Cities is holding its first division meeting of 2026. Hosted by the City of Chico, this meeting will explore the city's successful initiatives addressing two of the most pressing issues facing California cities: Serving the Unhoused and Affordable Housing. The city will also share best practices from their multi-year approach to reducing energy, cost and their dependence on the utility grid. This event is presented by The League of California Cities, which aims to strengthen California through advocacy and education initiatives. Meet a Southland expert: 

Brent Patera, Business Development Manager, is attending and will provide insight from the City of Chico's highly successful energy journey. Brent will also be sharing "best practices" developed through close collaboration between the City and Southland's full-service Energy Project team.
