Texas Data Center Project Featured in Building Design and Construction Article

Building Design and Construction

Our work as a multi-prime trade partner on a data center project in Abilene, Texas was highlighted in a Building Design and Construction building sector report. The article mentioned our early engagement and willingness to execute early on, which ultimately led to better outcomes for the large-scale hyperscale campus that features two buildings, totaling roughly 980,000 square-feet and more than 200 megawatts of capacity.

In partnership with DPR Construction, Rosendin, and other trade partners, we were able to reduce volatility and execute the initial project to meet the next-generation of AI compute, one that combines rapid modular delivery with high-performance liquid cooling for a full buildout designed for a capacity of up to 1.2 gigawatts (GW). This energy-first model supports the grid with a sustainable design.

The first 2 buildings started with the initial turnovers in 11 months, and all data halls were delivered in less than 18 months. Integrated strategies, like prefabrication and self-performance of work, kept this ambitious schedule on track.

This project demonstrates our speed-to-market capabilities, including quality, cost certainty, and operational readiness with data center and mission-critical solutions.
