Join Curtis Harbour, Vice President of Labor Relations and President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), as he speaks during the "VitalCog in Construction" breakout sessions on Tuesday, June 9, a two-part training that provides a comprehensive approach to addressing mental health and suicide prevention within the construction industry.
Part one of the training will focus on exploring the prevalence of suicide, industry-specific stressors, and the stigma that often prevents individuals from seeking help, while introducing key concepts such as risk factors, warning signs, and the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide.
Part two will consist of equipping participants with the practical skills and confidence to recognize at-risk individuals, engage in supportive conversations, and connect coworkers to appropriate resources.
