MWH 04

Overview

Southland provided full mechanical and plumbing scope on a roughly 40 MW of mission critical infrastructure in Quincy, WA. The project work included setting OFCI air handling units and fluid coolers, a piping interior carbon steel loop, exterior piping to fluid coolers, pump rooms, generator stacks, decentralized HVAC equipment install and hot aisle containment structures, and construction of two administration spaces.

Approach

One of Southland’s main project objectives was to stay ahead and work collaboratively with the electrical partner onsite. This was accomplished through enhanced prefabrication and minimal onsite labor in critical-schedule areas. Execution and relationships were also two critical components to the project’s success.

Result

Overall, Southland successfully delivered this project and developed a partnership with the other companies, leading Southland to gain the next project on this site.
