The 2015 Annual Conference in Atlanta will have a strong focus on the design, construction and operation of high performance buildings as four of the nine tracks in the conference focus on advanced design guidance, modeling, operation and optimization, and indoor air quality which are key aspects of high performance buildings along with one track that explicitly considers measured results and other aspects of high performance buildings.
Southland's own Reza Ghias, Ph.D. and Corey Lehman, P.E., will be speaking on "Use of CFD to Improve the IAQ in a Natural Ventilation Design Involved with Solar Load"
During this seminar two experts from the industry will present how they use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to improve IAQ in NV and DV system design for various projects. Natural ventilation (NV) and displacement ventilation (DV) can improve indoor air quality and reduce energy consumption.
Monday, June 29, 2015 9:45-10:45 AM
