Supporting the Community Through Symbolic Projects

The National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is a new Smithsonian institution located on the National Mall in Washington, DC for which Southland provided mechanical, plumbing, and building automation services. Opening later this month, it is the only museum dedicated entirely to African American culture and history.

How an Open Client Relationship Leads to an Efficient Project Turnover

In December of 2010, Southland Industries was awarded the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center replacement hospital project in Fort Hood, Texas. Now, almost three years later, we are in the process of turning over almost one million square feet of hospital space to the Army in Fort Hood.
