Southland Industries, one of the nation's largest MEP building systems experts, has been a dedicated Delta Controls partner for almost ten years and is proud to celebrate the company’s recent win as 2014 Building Automation System of the Year. Delta Controls was announced as the recipient of this award at the ControlTrends Awards in Chicago, Illinois last month. The event gathered numerous controls professionals and honored the best of the best within the HVAC and Building Automation industry.
Southland’s partnership with Delta Controls began in 2005, after a thorough evaluation of several building automation and controls companies that resulted in Delta as the frontrunner. Since then, Southland has been awarded several awards by the company, including #1 Delta Sales-USA in 2010, Million Dollar Achievement in Annual Delta Purchases in 2010, and #1 Delta Growth-USA in both 2009 and 2010. This successful relationship has led to over 87 million in Delta Controls installations by Southland Industries and its many divisions, such as ABS Systems.
“We are pleased to include Southland within our partnership; they have been representing the Delta Controls product across several states for over a decade. We feel both our businesses are based on delivering a product and service, which goes that step further. It is that commitment to ‘doing it right’ which sets Southland and Delta Controls apart from the competition,” stated Executive Vice President of Delta Controls John Nicholls.
As a recognized global leader in the manufacture of open-protocol building automation systems, Delta Controls has over 300 distributors in more than 80 countries. In addition to the company being a leader in technology, Southland offers Delta Controls to its clients due to the belief that Delta’s building automation systems provide superior web interfaces, flexibility, reliability, as well as support for users.
